I have worked as a journalist in India’s top media houses. This includes India’s premier news agency Press Trust of India, different magazines in India and also a tabloid. Being a journalist, I had the opportunity to travel to different countries and explore their culture, cuisine and exotic destinations. I was not fully happy working as a journalist in media. I was yearning to do something more. I wanted to start a business and travel magazine of my own. But starting a media house was a crazy dream. It was a risky venture. Coming from a middle class family, even the very idea was crazy.
But working as an employee for lifelong made me restless. But starting a media company at a time when ideally I should be making retirement plans was not a logical thing to do. Moreover I had no previous experience of business. But something in me prompted me to take this risk. I made a Vision Document of the magazine which I had named it Corporate Tycoons and showed it to my wife Pratibha who was also a journalist in a television channel. She looked at the vision document for long time and then asked me how serious I was. I told her I was very serious. She gave a pause and then told me “In that case resign from your job and go ahead. If it works out you will be happy that you have become an entrepreneur. If it fails, you will at least have the satisfaction that you have tried it. I will give you five years. If in five years , the venture does not succeed, then you can go back and take another secure job. I launched the Business and Travel magazine Corporate Tycoons on March 2013 at the hands of spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravishankar and since then there was no looking back.
Now I have started Media Gurukulam to impart training to skill people on Smarthpone Filmmaking and Mobile Journalism ( MOJO)

I am a senior television journalist who has more than 25 years of experience in Print, Television and All India Radio.
I have travelled to different parts of India including Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, North Eastern States and Maharashtra in the course of special assignments.
As a television journalist , I have got the opportunity to cover, produce and anchor a number of special Television Shows.
Travelogues and interviews have been my forte. I have been producing special half an hour bulletin for her channel practically every day covering important news of the day.
A good team leader who has a knack of motivating the youngsters, I have covered all landmark news including Mumbai Terror Attack, Kahthewadi Rape case, German Bakery blast, Malin flood and several other news.
During my tenure in Lokmat I have played a key role in launching Sakhi Manch , a platform for women and girls to get together and discuss various issues of Pune.
I had also started a special column in Lokmat titled Amcha Sahjivan wherein which I used to interview outstanding couples. The column was widely appreciated as it brought out little known facts about outstanding couples from the perspective of their spouses.
I Translated the English book District Diary written by Jaswant Singh in Marathi. Now her passion is Smartphone Filmmaking and Smartphone Journalism.
Now my passion is Smartphone Filmmaking and Smartphone Journalism. My mission is to train over 100,000 people on Smartphone Journalism.
