It provides a roadmap for the cast, director and the camera crew to know which scenes will be shot, where wil it be shot, what will be the dialogues and how it will be conveyed. 3. GOOD SOUND: Sound is important because it engages audiences: Visualize a horror movie of Ramsay Brothers. The eerie sound effect in the title track magnifies the effect of what will be seen in the film. Same is true in any film whether romantic, comedy or action thriller. 4. CASTING This is one of the most crucial parts of the filmmaking process because it can make or break a film. It is the task of the director of the film to cast actors who perfectly fit the role. Imagine a blockbuster movie like Sholay. Do you think any person other than Amjad Khan could have played the character of Gabbar as perfectly? 5. GOOD LOCATION :Good location is very important in a story. Location scouting is one of the most important jobs during the pre-production phase of filmmaking. It involves exploring places to shoot, commercial shows, movies or television shows. 6. GOOD MUSIC Take any James Bond movie, what is one thing you remember in every movie? Yes you have guessed it right. It is the iconic opening with a GUN BARREL SEQUENCE shot from the point of view of a presumed assassin. It features James Bond walking, turning, and then shooting directly at camera, causing blood to run down the screen. The Gun Barrel sequence has a carefully crafted music in all films that is addictive to the audience. 7. GOOD CINEMATOGRAPHY: Cinematography acts as a visual guide for the audience. By making decisions about camera and lights, we lead the audience to understand events in a certain way. It focusses on storytelling through visuals. 8.
